Vertex’s Response to COVID-19

As the details surrounding Covid-19 develop on a daily basis, Vertex is monitoring the situation closely and taking the necessary precautions and preventative measures to protect the health and safety of our employees and their families, our customers and partners.

We have implemented comprehensive plans for safe work procedures and contingency plans to keep our workers and clients and the communities in which we live and work safe, while ensuring business continuity. These plans include the development of an Infectious Respiratory Diseases Questionnaire that is utilized by field workers to self-assesses and document their fitness for duty with respect to COVID-19, as well as increased cleaning protocols and appropriate travel, transportation, and self-quarantine restrictions. We are also working with customers to establish safe working procedures and interactions. While we continue operations, we are taking the necessary actions to ensure we practice physical distancing and where possible, our employees are working from home. Vertex will continue following the recommendations and guidelines for safe conduct established by government authorities and health agencies.

Vertex remains focused on continuing to provide exemplary service to our clients. During these challenging times, we would like to express appreciation for the level of commitment and co-operation shown by our employees, contractors, and clients and to thank health professionals, front line workers, and other essential service providers for their ongoing efforts during these uncertain times.
