Vertex provides Fugitive Emissions Management and Leak Detection & Repair (LDAR) services to clients in the oil and gas sector across Western Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan) and the United States (Texas, New Mexico).

Our Fugitive Emissions Management and Leak Detection & Repair (LDAR) services support upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas operators with meeting meet their fugitive emissions inspection requirements to ensure compliance with applicable regulations in their operating jurisdictions. Our skilled LDAR specialists are trained to conduct screenings through AVO methods, surveys using Method 21, or surveys with FLIR GFx320 optical gas imaging cameras to detect hydrocarbon gas leaks and venting, paired with QL320 quantitative optical gas imaging (QOGI) technology to quantify emissions in order to support compliant leak detection & repair (LDAR) programs.

Vertex works in close collaboration with a number of Alternative Fugitive Emissions Program (Alt-FEMP) technology providers and can support compliance with Alt-FEMP programs, including OGI follow-up inspections following Alt-FEMP screenings. Our emissions management specialists are multidisciplinary and cross-trained in emissions detection and measurement, allowing our clients to benefit from efficiencies through our ability to complete multiple emissions services during the same trip.
